The city of Galena is getting ready for a popular annual event this weekend.
The Galena Country Fair will be Saturday from 10 to 5 and Sunday from 10 to 4 at Grant Park.
The Galena Country Fair usually attracts thousands of people to check out arts and crafts vendors, the food, music, and other activities.
There is a suggested $3 dollar entry fee with proceeds returned to the community through grants and donations to not-for-profit organizations from throughout Jo Daviess County.
