A Bernard man was injured when his pick-up rear-ended a semi-truck yesterday evening on northbound Highway 151 near Fillmore.
The Iowa State Patrol says the crash happened just after 5 o’clock when the pick-up driven by 25-year old Garrett Miller ran into the semi driven by 61-year old Michael Rea of Cascade which was slowing to turn right.
Miller had to be taken by ambulance to MercyOne Medical Center in Dubuque.
The accident caused northbound 151 to be shut down for about a half hour and affected traffic for nearly 3 hours.
