A man was injured after crashing into a house on Friday morning near Galena.
The Jo Daviess County Sheriff says it happened shortly before 8 o’clock in the 10-thousand block of West Council Hill Road.
Authorities say 40-year-old Keith Redfearn of Scales Mound was driving a truck and pulling a cattle trailer when he suffered a medical emergency and lost control of the truck. The truck hit an unoccupied vehicle and then a nearby home owned by Neil and Jodi Timmerman.
Redfearn was taken to Midwest Medical Center in Galena.
The crash remains under investigation.
