The Dubuque Senior Ram football team has inched up higher in the Class 5A playoff picture. Senior sits in 14th place in the latest RPI rankings. The top 16 teams at the end of the season will qualify for the playoffs.
Western Dubuque (5-2, .6157) is No. 7 in the Class 4A RPI. In Class 3A, Wahlert (5-2, .6182) is No. 7. Both teams lead their district and automatically qualify with the district title.
Bellevue is ranked No. 4 in Class 2A, Dyersville Beckman Catholic is eighth in Class 1A. Also both are district leaders going into the final game of the regular season on Friday night.
