It was Iowa basketball media day in Iowa City yesterday. New Iowa men’s basketball coach Ben McCollum’s team will be led by a cast of newcomers led by pre-season all Big 10 point guard Bennett Stirtz, one of six transfers that came with him from his previous stop at Drake.
McCollum talked about what type of identity his Hawkeyes will need in order to be successful in the Big 10.
Iowa opens up the season at home on November 4th against Robert Morris.
