Dubuque firefighters battled a garage fire during the early morning hours today. Officials say the call came in shortly before midnight and crews were sent to 751 Alta Vista Street on the report of fire coming from a detached garage. Firefighters had the blaze extinguished shortly after arrival.
There were no injuries. Preliminary damage estimates is said to be around $85-thousand dollars.
The cause of the fire is under investigation, but is not considered to be suspicious.
