A Dubuque elementary school is one of four schools in the state named a 2025 Blue Ribbon School.
Bryant Elementary was selected from among 200 high performing contenders. All four schools were picked based on performance in areas like reading and writing, graduation rates, and absenteeism.
The Blue Ribbon program recognizes outstanding schools across the state for their academic achievements. Schools need to score in the top 15 percent of schools statewide and each subset of students must score in at least the top 40 percent.
