Bellevue Police are investigating the attempted theft of an A-T-M machine from a local bank.
Police say around four this morning officers went to Fidelity Bank on North 2nd Street on the report of a theft or possible vandalism to the A-T-M. When authorities arrived they found the machine was damaged and a nearby vehicle with no one inside. An investigation found the vehicle had been stolen from a Springbrook residence a little earlier in the morning.
Bellevue Police are asking for anyone who might have information to contact them. The Jackson County Sheriff and F.B.I are assisting in the investigation.
