The Iowa High School State Cross Country Meet takes place today and tomorrow in Fort Dodge.
Today in Class 1A and 2A competing from the area:
- 1A Beckman Catholic boys team and Brody Sullivan of Bellevue
- 2A Hallie Kelchen of Cascade
Tomorrow in Class 3A and 4A:
- 4A Senior and Hempstead boys teams and the Senior girls teams are qualifying teams. Chelsea Heiberger of Hempstead is also qualified on the girls side.
- 3A Western Dubuque boys team behind defending state champ Quentin Namuman, also qualified is Jayden Brookins of Wahlert. The Wahlert girls team also is in the state field along with Izzy Hardin of Maquoketa.
