The Platteville Common Council is looking to fill a vacancy in their District 4 seat on the council for the first time in three decades.
91-year old Ken Killian recently announced his retirement from the council after 35 years. Killian spent two years as an at-large member from 1984 to 1985 and then represented District 4 from 1991 until his Oct. 20th retirement.
The Common Council is currently seeking applicants who must live in District 4, are at least 18 years old and want to serve the remainder of Kilian’s term, which expires in April 2027.
