Dubuque Firefighter responded to a fire in an apartment building near Wahlert High School.
Shortly after 12 noon yesterday, crews received the report of the fire at 1717 Kane Street. The fire was located around a furnace vent in the attic and it was extinguished.
Total loss from the fire is estimated at $8-thousand dollars. There were no injuries reported.
