Loras College is looking for a new head football coach.
After 12 seasons, Steve Helminiak who served as head coach of the Duhawks since the final 3 games of the 2013 season is no longer with the program after being fired.
The Duhawks finished this season with a record of 3-and-7. During his tenure Helminak’s overall record was 42-and-73 with a conference record of 35-and-56. His team’s best campaigns were in 2019, 2022, and 2023 when they finished 5-and5.
The search for a new head coach is underway.
