Downtown Dubuque Building Rehab Receives 684K in State Credits

A project to revitalize a downtown Dubuque building has landed a large amount of state credits.

Yesterday, the Iowa Economic Development Authority announced the Rider Lacy Block project has been awarded nearly $684-thousand dollars from the Historic Preservation Tax Credit program to help rehab the building at 17-06 Central Avenue into first-floor commercial space and 11 upper-story apartments.

The award was part of more than $23 million dollars in Historic Preservation Tax Credit awards to 11 historic properties across the state.
