Dubuque Police arrested two Wisconsin residents following a shooting incident early Wednesday morning where a man suffered a gunshot wound. Authorities say the shooting happened shortly after 1:15 at a residence in the 800 block of West 5th Street.
Police say 57-year old Arthur Blakeley and 54-year old Cleshawn Hopes both of Racine are each being held in the Dubuque County Jail on 100-thousand dollars bond.
Investigators are trying to determine if Blakeley or Hopes shot 36-year old Promethius Brown who was taken to MercyOne Dubuque Medical Center for treatment of a gunshot wound to the chest.
