If some of your Christmas lights lost their glow over the holiday, don’t pitch them, recycle them.
The Dubuque Metro Area Solid Waste Agency has set up drop off locations for you to be able to recycle them.
Unwanted lights can be dropped off in marked containers at several locations in the county now through January 10th. CLICK HERE for more information and to find out drop off locations.
The agency says over 12-thousand pounds of lights have been recycled since the program started six years ago.
