IOWA CITY, Iowa (AP) — Bennett Stirtz scored 22 points as No. 25 Iowa finished the nonconference part of its schedule with a 90-62 win over UMass Lowell

AMES, Iowa (AP) — Joshua Jefferson scored a season-high 23 points, Blake Buchanan had five dunks and 16 points and No. 3 Iowa State beat Houston Christian 89-61 on Monday night.

#20 Illinois 90, Southern 55

Jake Davis hit five 3-pointers and finished with 15 points and Keaton Wagler had 11 points, 10 assists and seven rebounds as No. 20 Illinois closed out its non-conference schedule with a 90-55 win over Southern.

Fighting Saints Fall at Green Bay

The Dubuque Fighting Saints (18-9-2-0, 38 pts) fell 3-2 in overtime to the Green Bay Gamblers (21-7-2-1, 45 pts) on Monday in Green Bay.

Dubuque will be back in action tomorrow evening when the Saints will host a New Year’s Eve contest against Cedar Rapids Roughriders at ImOn Arena.
