A former head football coach at Dubuque Senior High School has entered a petition to plead guilty in a first degree theft-embezzlement case.
40-year old Darrell Moore who also previously served as the president of the dissolved Dubuque Independent Football League was accused of misappropriating over $47-thousand dollars in funds from the former league from approximately November 2020 until the league folded in 2023. Moore was arrested in November 2024.
Online court records show a plea hearing for Moore is scheduled for this Monday morning in Dubuque County District Court.
