The Clayton County Sheriff’s Department continues to investigate a farming accident near Holy Cross which resulted in the death of a man.
Authorities say the accident happened on Monday and preliminary findings indicate the victim became entrapped in a piece of agricultural equipment and was pronounced dead when emergency crews arrived.
The name of the person who died isn’t being released at this time.
The Iowa State Patrol, Holy Cross Fire and Ambulance assisted.
