A Cedar Rapids teenager was arrested on Sunday by Dubuque County authorities for a high speed chase in a stolen vehicle
last year.
18-year old Jayden Williams was first apprehended November 8th after he crashed the vehicle following the chase which reached speeds over 100 miles per hour on Highway 151/61. The chase ended when Williams exited onto Grandview Avenue and ran into the bridge.
Authorities say they took Williams into custody and he admitted stealing the vehicle and driving to Dubuque.
Williams was 17 at the time of the incident.
