Some accumulating snow is in the forecast for tonight. The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for Dubuque and much of the listening area beginning this evening and going through the morning hours tomorrow.
Forecasters say a fast moving clipper system will produce 2 to 4 inches and locally higher amounts of snow tonight. They also forecast strong winds gusting up to 40 mph combined with the new snow resulting in drifting and blowing snow.
