The Dubuque Fighting Saints have acquired Norwegian defenseman Nils Sunde adding him to their active roster.
Sunde joins Dubuque after playing 28 professional games for Frisk Asker in the Norwegian top-league.
Sunde played alongside Fighting Saints defenseman Ludvig Lafton at the World Junior Championships (D1A) last month.
With Sunde’s addition, the Fighting Saints roster sits at 24 players, the maximum allowed in the USHL.
Dubuque is scheduled to host Sioux City Friday and Saturday night at ImOn Arena.
