The city of Platteville has selected a new Police Chief.
Lieutenant Josh Grabandt is being elevated to the job. Grabandt is replacing Chief of Police Doug McKinley who is retiring after serving nearly 20 years as chief and has been with the Platteville Police force since 1991.
Grabant will step into the position March 2nd. He says he plans to build ion the department’s existing strengths while continuing to enhance public trust, operational effectiveness, and service to the community.
