For the second straight week Iowa senior Bennett Stirtz has been named the Big Ten Player of the Week. He shares the accolade with Indiana’s Lamar Wilkerson.
Stirtz averaged 29 points, 3.5 assists, 1.5 rebounds and 1.5 steals in Hawkeye victories over Washington and Northwestern. He shot nearly 60 percent from the field including 57 percent from behind the three point line.
