The National Weather Service has issued to Winter Storm Warning for the coverage area counties of Dubuque, Delaware and Clayton Counties in Iowa along with Grant, Iowa, and Layfayette County in Wisconsin.
A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect for Jackson and Jones Counties in Iowa and Jo Daviess County in Illinois. Forecasters say most of the snow will fall after 9 this evening through 9 tomorrow morning.
In the warning area, total snow accumulations between 4 and 8 inches are forecast along with drifting snow from winds gusting as high as 40 miles per hour. 2 to 4 inches is forecast in the advisory counties.
