This week marks the beginning of a long term closure on Old Mill Road in Dubuque.
The city says construction work on a new sanitary sewer lift station is requiring the closure between Manson Road and the Catfish Creek Bridge. The closure is scheduled to continue through May 22nd.
The detour around the project utilizes Freemont Avenue, Grandview Avenue, and Rockdale Road. Officials say you could use the Southwest Arterial as an alternate route.
