A water main break on Indian Ridge, combined with a temporary, construction-related water main shut down in the area, resulted in a brief loss of pressure within the area’s water distribution system.
Due to the potential for bacterial contamination, it is recommended that customers in the designated area boil water before drinking or using for cooking or that an alternative water source be used until the advisory is lifted.
This boil water advisory will remain in place until two consecutive water samples have been tested/completed and are negative for bacteria, which could take approximately 48 hours.
