The Archdiocese of Dubuque is scheduled to reveal their new pastorate plan next month as part of its Journey in Faith initiative.
The Archdiocese says on April 11th the new pastorate structure and priest assignments will be announced.
Pastors are expected to share a letter with their parish communities explaining the implications of the Archdiocese plans, including details about pastorate collaborations, priest assignments, and weekend Mass locations.
An interim Mass schedule will be created by the outgoing and incoming pastors to be used from July 15th thru January 15, 2027.After that final long-term plans for ministry and evangelization will begin formal implementation.
