Dubuque Police say a commercial building sustained about $20-thousand dollars damage when a woman driving accidentally hit the gas instead of the brake.
Police say the accident happened Tuesday morning around 8:30 at 34-30 Dodge Street when the vehicle driven by 86-year old Shirley Hinderman of East Dubuque struck the building and scraping an overhanging support beam to the structure. Hinderman reported a possible injury.
