Two men were injured one critically as the result of a crash between a pick-up truck and semi in southwest Wisconsin.
The Layfayette County Sheriff says the collision occurred Friday afternoon around 2:45 at the intersection of County Highway’s KK, DD and South Prairie Road, in Gratiot.
Authorities say the pick-up driven by 19-year old Jeremy Eicher of Orangeville, Illinois didn’t stop at a stop sign and went into the path of the semi driven by 48-year old Jimmy Klenz of Broadhead. Both vehicles went into the ditch after impact.
Eicher has to be airlifted to U-W Hospital for treatment of serious injuries. Klenz was taken to the hospital in Monroe where he was treated and released.
