The Iowa State Patrol says one person died and another was seriously injured in a two vehicle collision in Jones County.
The crash happened around 1:20 Monday afternoon four miles south of Anamosa on Highway 151. Authorities say for reasons unknown a car traveling north crossed the median and collided broadside with a pick-up truck traveling south.
The driver of the car was killed, while the pickup driver was taken to the hospital. The names are not being released yet.
