The Dubuque Community School Board will meet Monday evening at 5:30 at the Forum on Chaney Road.
One of the items on the agenda is a public hearing on the proposed budget estimate for fiscal 2026-2027. The proposed $183.7 million dollar budget carries a proposed tax levy rate of about $13.04 per $1,000 of taxable valuation which is about four cents higher than the current rate.
Public hearings will also be held on the proposed Irving Elementary Roof Replacement and Playground Replacement Project, and on the proposed Sageville Elementary Fuel Oil Tank Replacement Project.
