A 46-year-old Dubuque woman died after crashing her car into a home Wednesday afternoon in rural Clinton County.
The Iowa State Patrol saysTrisha Brookins was driving west on 190th Street when she apparently had a medical emergency.
Troopers say Brookins went into a ditch, drove through a field and crashed into a house. Both the car and house caught on fire. Brookins was the only person in the vehicle and could not escape. No one else was hurt.
Brookins was a middle school teacher in the Central Dewitt School District.
