The National Weather Service says a damage survey team did confirm storms on Tuesday evening spun up an EF1 rated tornado in Dubuque County.
Officials say the tornado developed near the Dubuque airport around 6:30 that evening and had a path of about 3.5 miles, with maximum winds near 105 mph.
The Weather Service also confirmed EF1 tornadoes in western Delaware County and Buchanan County.
