The Mississippi River continues to climb, but now it appears it will stay just below the 17 foot flood stage level in Dubuque. The river this morning is at 15.2 feet and is now predicted to rise to 16.8 feet sometime Wednesday, but stay below the flood mark.
Dubuque’s Miller Riverview Park and Campground remains closed until further notice due to the rising river level.
City officials say an update on the official opening date will be shared after the river level recedes and the date is known.
