Gracie Abrams is embarking on a new era of music with the release of her third studio album, Daughter From Hell, due out July 17. Created alongside longtime collaborator Aaron Dessner, the 16-track project follows the massive success of 2024’s The Secret of Us and signals a fresh creative direction for the singer-songwriter.

Abrams confirmed the news unveiling the album title, artwork, and release date on Instagram, writing: “‘Daughter from Hell’ My third album is out July 17.  Whoa whoa whoa. Freaking out I am so ready for it to be yours ❤ Available to pre-order now”

Abrams is also teasing the project with the release of the album’s first single, “Hit the Wall,” available to stream now. Speaking with Vogue during the 2026 Met Gala, Abrams described the song as the beginning of a new phase in her career. “It’s the introduction to this new chapter, and I feel grateful and relieved that this is the introduction,” she said. “It feels embodied and that feels good. I’m excited for it to belong to everyone else.”

Abrams’ 2023 debut, Good Riddance, helped establish her as one of pop’s fastest-rising artists, leading to a sold-out headline tour and an opening slot on select dates of Taylor Swift’s ‘Eras Tour’. She later followed that momentum with consecutive world tours and her first solo North American arena run.

Her sophomore album, The Secret of Us, debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 and topped charts in several countries, including the UK and Australia. The record produced major hits such as “That’s So True,” which reached the Billboard Hot 100’s top 10 and surpassed 1.5 billion Spotify streams, as well as “us.” featuring Taylor Swift, earning a Grammy nomination for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance.
