August Teacher
Congratulations to our August Teacher of The Month, Halie Denlinger-Takes! Halie teaches the third grade at Table Mound Elementary right here in Dubuque.
Mrs. Takes has been described as a selfless educator, always making her students the #1 priority. She often thinks outside of the box when it comes to teaching, looking for new creative ways to engage her students. Part of that creativity shines through because she doesn’t hesitate to dress the part, whether that is a referee or another fun costume.
She enjoys challenging her students while still maintaining a fun environment, and she will do anything to show her students she is proud of them. Teachers like Mrs. Takes truly make a lasting positive impact on the younger generations to come. We praise your dedication to being an incredible educator, congratulations!
