jail prison sentence arrest

A Dubuque man was arrested Friday after he allegedly pointed a loaded cross bow at the manager of the mobile home park where he was a former resident.
53-year old Paul Carter faces charges of assault while displaying a dangerous weapon and two other charges in the incident.
Authorities say around 4:30 in the afternoon they were called to the Table Mound MHP Manufactured Home Community on Noonan Street after park manager Ryan Barton called 9-1-1. Barton told police Carter who was evicted from his property earlier in the week, was back at the residence and reportedly ran to the deck of his former home and picked up the cross bow and pointed it at Barton.
Deputies located a black crossbow in the cocked position with a red arrow in the attached quiver.
