The Dubuque Police Department is getting ready to host their annual National Night Out event next month.
The free event promotes crime prevention and neighborhood unity and will be held on Tuesday evening, August 6th from 6 to 8 at Comiskey Park.
Police and other emergency workers will be on hand for the event which will include free food, games, music, and other activities.
