Iowa Governor Kim Reynolds has issued a disaster proclamation in response to Monday night’s storms and flooding. Dubuque and Clayton counties are among those in the proclamation.
The proclamation allows state resources to be utilized in response and recovery efforts and activates the Iowa Individual Assistance Grant Program, which provides grants to households with incomes up to 200% of the federal poverty level. Grants are available for home or car repairs, replacement of clothing or food, and temporary housing expenses.
