A man is doing fine after spending several hours on his jet ski stuck in Mississippi River mud yesterday evening.
The identity of the man is not available. Dubuque Fire and Rescue report they were one of 10 law enforcement agencies who worked in the dark to search for the man who was reported missing by family after he failed to return to shore earlier in the day and was last season around 5 o’clock.
Police drones were also deployed to help try to locate the man who authorities say was not carrying a cellphone. He was eventually found by one of the rescue boats around 10:30 last night in the Green Slough near the Massey area south of Dubuque. The man was not injured in the incident.
