Fennimore is off to the state tournament winning a sectional championship at Osseo Merchants Park by first defeating Cuba City 1-0 in eight innings and then in the championship topping Westby 3-2 in eight innings. Fennimore will play a state semi-final game on Tuesday at Neuroscience Group Field at Fox Cities Stadium in Grand Chute

Tennis
The Hempstead High School brother and sister combo Max and Mya Hoden went 3-1 to advance to the semifinals of the Class 2A coed state tennis tournament at the Marshalltown.
