Dubuque Police say two men were arrested and they are searching for two other men in connection with the beating of man in the downtown area.
Police say late Monday night, they were called to the 400 block of Main Street on the report of an intoxicated man, when they arrived they found a man suffering from facial injuries; he was taken to the hospital. The man told officers, he was attacked by four men he regularly saw hanging around the garden area of the Dubuque Rescue Mission.
Police say following an investigation which included using traffic camera footage of the area, 44-year old Jacinto Lopez-Perez and 51-year old Jason Ralston were arrested and charged. Authorities are searching for the two others who were involved.
