A Dubuque man has been charged in connection with a series of fights around Comiskey Park last month.
Dubuque Police say 20-year old Edwin Ventura Cruz was arrested on Wednesday on a warrant charging willful injury causing bodily injury and participation in a riot.
Police say Cruz was identified using camera traffic camera footage of the area during the brawls on evening of June 9th. Authorities say Cruz was determined to be the driver of a vehicle in which 19-year old Sylvester Hubbard was a passenger and was also involved in the fights.
Hubbard was arrested June 10th and is accused of pulling a gun during the fight. He has pled not guilty to the charges against him and will go to trial this fall.
