The Grant County Sheriff says a two vehicle accident on Thursday near Fennimore caused serious injury for one of the drivers.
The crash took place around 7 in the morning at the intersection of County Road ‘K’ and Hilltop Road. Authorities say one of the vehicles driven by 46-year old Shawn Leffler of Woodman crossed the centerline and collided with the other vehicle driven by 49-year old Joseph Freed of Platteville.
Leffler was first taken to Grant Regional Hospital and then was air lifted to University of Wisconsin Hospitals in Madison. Freed was uninjured in the crash.
