Older adults in Jo Daviess County are invited to a series of community outreach events this month.
The Senior Resource Center is hosting the sessions connecting those aged 60 and older and those with disabilities with state-funded support and programs. Assistance with aging and disability benefits along with answers to questions on Medicaid and Medicare will be available.
The first of the walk-in events will be held today (8/14) at the Township Park District Office in Hanover. Other events will be at the Stockton Township Library on August 21st and at the West Galena Township Building on August 28th. All of the events will run from 10 until 2.
