There will be people going Over the Edge in downtown Dubuque this Friday to raise money for the United Way of Dubuque Area Tri-States.
Katie Wiedemann with the United Way says 75 volunteers will rappel over the edge of the 13 story MidwestOne Bank Building.
She says this event has opened the door to younger people fund raising for United Way.
Widemann says many of the rappelers will be in costume and the public is invited to come down and watch.
Wiedemann was a guest on KDTH Voices of the Tri-State this week. New this year following the event there will be a street festival featuring live music from 6 to 9.
