Voters in the Dubuque School District will have the chance to learn more about the upcoming 70-million dollar bond referendum that will be on the ballot in November.
The first of two community information meetings will be held tomorrow evening from 6:30 to 7:30 at Jefferson Middle School. Tours of Jefferson will be available from 5:30 to 6:30.
The meeting will feature a presentation by Superintendent Amy Hawkins and the architecture team leading the proposed project.
The second session will be on Tuesday evening October 21st at Washington.
If approved the money would help fund a new middle school combining Washington and Jefferson into one building to be constructed on the current Washington site.
