Dubuque city parks have gone into off season mode.
Yesterday the City of Dubuque Parks and Recreation Department shut down park amenities such as restrooms, pavilions, and drinking fountains until next spring. Parks with road gates also have been closed to vehicle traffic.
The department says while vehicles will be restricted, parks remain open and accessible to walkers and bikers throughout the off-season!
