A trial date has been set for a Dubuque man charged with first degree robbery last month.
22-year old Jacques (jay-kweez) Avery Junior has pled not guilty in the incident October 11th at a home on West 15th Street and is scheduled to go to trial January 6th in Dubuque County District Court.
Avery is accused of punching a man; threatening him with a knife, and then telling him he would shoot him. The man also reported around 300 dollars was taken. Avery is still being held in the Dubuque County Jail.
