A Dubuque man arrested this summer for leaving two young injured children unattended in a back yard following a vehicle accident has been sentenced.
38-year old Corlandis Chester was ordered to serve five years of probation following a plea deal.
Chester was arrested in July, a couple days after a two vehicle accident which he was seen running away from with two small children. The children ages 7 and eight were later found injured in the back yard of a home on Auburn Street and were hospitalized. One of the children had a fractured skull.
